I have been in clinical practice since 1985 and believe in a balanced approach to therapy. I've been a yoga practitioner for the past 30 years and yoga teacher for the past 10 years. So my clinical practice has a strong mind/body/spirit approach. I got my Ph.D. at UCLA and have continued an academic career by publishing papers and books. I have a special interest in nonlinear science. My most recent book, Psyche's Veil, blends the nonlinear science, art, mythology and spirituality of clinical practice. I have an artistic side and drew over 40 images for that book. I dance as well. My first book was a creativity curriculum for educators. I view psychotherapy as an act of co-creativity on the part of therapist and patient. I absolutely love clinical practice and feel ever renewed and inspired by helping people to change.
